He was the Founder and CEO of Denali Sourcing Services (now a part of WNS), a next-generation procurement services provider that enabled procurement organizations to influence more spend and execute more effectively and efficiently. Prior to Denali, Alpar developed his cross-industry expertise in procurement value chain while in management positions at Ariba, FreeMarkets, Diamond Technology Partners and E&Y. He holds an MBA degree from the Tepper Business School of Carnegie Mellon University.

Mert Kacmaz is the VP of Procurement, Americas in Mars Inc, leading the sourcing organization across all indirect categories and across all Mars business units, delivering world class savings, innovation, and compliance. Prior to Mars, Mert spend over a decade in P&G procurement in various local/regional/global category management roles, led S2P transformation and supplier connectivity upon his transfer in 2009 to P&G’s global HQ in Cincinnati/OH. He served as Head of Global Indirect Procurement in Duracell, a Berkshire Hathaway company, in between P&G and Mars tenure. Mert holds an MSc on Supply Chain Management and Logistics from University of Warwick, UK as a British Council Chevening scholar; and an MBA degree from Fisher School of Business at Ohio State University.
